2000 TIL was founded to secure berths and terminal capacity in the major ports used by MSC.
2001 The Company acquired equity interests in its first terminals in Marport, Turkey and Long Beach, California.
2003 The Company acquired an equity interest in Freeport.
2004 The Company acquired equity interests in terminals in Antwerp, Belgium; Bremerhaven, Germany; and Le Havre, France.
2005 The Company acquired equity interests in terminals in Navegantes, Brazil; Valencia, Spain and Singapore.
2006 The Company acquired equity interests in terminals in Montreal, Canada; Naples, Italy and Sines, Portugal.
2007 The Company acquired an equity interest in terminals in Lagos, Nigeria and Ningbo, China.
2008 The Company acquired an equity interest in the terminals in Klaipedos, Lithuania; [Manosof], Russia and [Rome], Italy.
2010 The Company acquired equity interests in terminals in Oakland, California; Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Santos, Brazil.
2011 The Company acquired equity interests in terminals in Marseille, France and Newark, New Jersey. The Company disposed of its equity interest in the terminal in Lagos, Nigeria.
2012 The Company acquired equity interests in the terminals of Barbaros, Turkey; Iskenderun, Turkey; Las Palmas, Spain; St Petersburg, Russia and the TTI terminals in Long Beach, California; Oakland, California; and Seattle, Washington. Through its acquisition of GTL, the Company acquired equity interests in terminals in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia; Marseilles, France; Mundra, India and Lomé, Togo. The Company disposed of its equity interests in terminals in Rome, Italy. The Company acquired and disposed of an equity interest in Gioia Tauro, Italy.
